Evolutions: Venosaur

Concept Art: So, not much different from Bulbasaur. The bulb on its back now blossoms, and it obviously is a little bit bigger. That being said I like the little things. I like that it looks more aggressive, and the eyes are less cutesy. It now looks more like a Pokemon ready for fighting, and not like something I want to hug. And again, I like how it looks like a teenage version of Bulbasaur. However, I think Ivysaur next to Wartortle is my least favorite starter evolution in the first gen.
Games: The middle evolutions of pretty much all the Pokemon aren’t really as important. They aren’t the iconic designs, and I only have Pokemon that are in their final evolution, so Ivysaur I just don’t really care about all that much. But one cool thing, Ivysaur is in Smash Bros. Brawl, and although I haven’t played it yet, I just find it awesome that he still made it into the game.
