I know my site only focuses on media, but I feel it’s important to not just reflect on that. Some things are much more important than entertainment. First, Gay Rights had a huge Milestone. Now a third of Americans now live in states where its legal for two people of the same gender to be married. Not to mention never before have I seen so many people defending gay rights, and I think that’s a great thing. We have a new pope, and he’s apparently super nice. There was a Government Shutdown followed by the Obamacare disaster. Not to mention the near bombing of Syria. All in all it seems the government itself has terrible tension in the air, and hopefully it will be a better year next year. But on top of the Syria lives taken, there was the Boston Bombing, the terrible storm in the Philippines, and of course even more school shootings going around left and right. And yeah, that’s a lot of terrible. I want to honor all the lives lost, and for everyone to celebrate and honor those who were taken in these terrible incidents. But I’m a yin-yang person, and I think for me that makes these events not seem as bad. Anyway, another rollercoaster year, let’s see the next one.
