The Sakura gets saved and sits on the sideline count is over 9,000! So yeah, this episode was a big cock tease, wasn’t it? Naruto vs. Kabuto! Oh, and Kabuto is dead! And Naruto might die too! Oh, not really. It was a character already supposed to be dead. Then the big bad cousin pops up, and he looks like he’s going to be a boss battle of some kind. But it really felt like they were just wasting time for this one. How about Sakura kicks some ass instead, a nice change of pace. Even if they wasted time, at least it would have been refreshing. Naruto may be the ultimate underdog, but although you think he’s weak, he really does overcome the odds. He defeats Neji and Gaara fairly, and it’s believable. However, Sakura half the time her giant obstacle is being useful, and she hardly does anything to do that. And if the filler is increasing the gabs of her doing things, than that’s terrible for her character. The filler should take time and make characters better. Anyway, a real time waster, I was disappointed.
