NHK Episode 15 (Welcome to the Fantasy!) Review
Leave it to Sato to ruin his life when he needs it to get better as soon as possible! Anyway, yes, Sato got the message from his mom that his money is being cut in half. And he’s already broke. So he suddenly remember what the kid from the suicide pack (‘cause where you should get all your advice from) and that he can make money online. So he goes for gold farming. I think that’s how you pronounce it. And he journeys into the land that is MMO games, and reminds me why I shouldn’t play them. In the world that seems ironic since I’m also watching Sword Art Online around the time of this review, he does the typical thing. Gets his ass beat, gets higher levels, and then meets up with a strange female companion that we’ll get to later in another review. But anyway, finally after skipping multiple counseling sessions, Misaki checks on him. And it’s a sad sad sight. He is practically living on his computer, and looks pretty fucking disgusting. And the episode cuts off. And I remember how much I loved this episode. It’s a really good one, and captures the show well. And of course, it was entertaining. This is probably the hardest one to decided what it is, but I’m thinking a really strong four. It was a good introduction to this part of the show, but I’m waiting for the good reveals and emotional parts. We’ll get to that in the next reviews.
