Ugh. I really thought I’d be eating my words when I read the name of this episode. But… Sakura still hasn’t done much. Okay, so first the bad guy puts Naruto into this jutsu, it’s a pretty cool one. I think I like it more than the blob that is him. Anyway, Sakura saved the girl, that was her name. And then… Naruto finishes off the bad guy, and practically gets upset that Sakura did something… as if she should have left him die. Then yeah, the place collapses, Jiraiya saves the kid, the bad guy dies although he did brake free and die as a good guy. I have to say I liked that part. Then they finished the arc, and I guess that was it. But the idea is Sakura fighting the fact she isn’t dead weight… oh my God. No character should ever have an arc depending whether their just dead weight. We already got the underdog, we shouldn’t have a deadweight character arc. And maybe Sakura should have saved everyone? But yeah, when they get back, she asks Tsunade if she can be her apprentice. Yes please. Just do something after it, and I’ll be happy. Anyway, this episode was… above average? I’m getting really conflicted with Sakura’s character, and I have a feeling she might leave for awhile, and maybe that’s a good thing. Give the grass a really nice coat of green. Anyway, above average. The end of the arc, and plus Sakura becoming Tsunade’s apprentice actually is import, I’m conflicted, but liked it enough.
