Twenty-one, my favorite number! Anyway, our heroes are off to save Len, but of course things try and stop them. First is Anna, who is rather bitchy as of the beginning of the episode. But they sneak off, and then are ambushed by Shaman tournament participants who have strange powers of rock and roll. They send Bason and Amidamaru away with their music, and summon weird little monsters to attack Yoh and friends. But guess who saves the day, Rio! With three wins under his belt, he is ready for the second round of the tournament, but for now he’s saving the gang. The two rock and roll dudes walk off, and I’m pretty sure they were working for some dude named Zeke. Three rather depressing looking girls seemed to watch the fight, then reported back to who I presume to be Zeke, and by how bad ass he looked, I’m guessing we just got our new main antagonist. But Len is still captive along with his sister, and things look bleak, but Len has sworn to defeat his uncle. All in all the episode I liked, it kept up the pace, but I didn’t care too much for the weird rock and roll guys, and I hope they don’t come back. As for Zeke, I know that doesn’t even count for an introduction, so it doesn’t really matter. But I liked it, hopefully things will keep the pace going upwards.
