Episode 12 (Welcome to the Offline Meeting!) Review
Well the episode begins, and Sato and Hitomi meet up with a strange group of people before going on their “vacation.” And you can tell something isn’t right. They meet three people, and they’re all weird. Strange old man, awkward kid on his DS, and weird guy with glasses. They take a boat to their own personal island. Sato tries talking to them, since he’s had a revolution and is no longer a hikikomori. But after talking to them, something obviously is wrong. They’re all gloomy assholes. Meanwhile Yamazaki and the others are trying to find out where Sato and Hitomi are. After that, Sato tries brightening the place with a fire, and he even gets help from the gloomy bunch. Then it turns out… THEY’RE TRYING TO KILL THEMSELVES! Yay! Overall, that was a big reveal to me, and god damn it was a sharp turn in the woods.
