Our episode begins how a lot of Anime episodes should, the friend character calling the main protagonist a jackass. Then after that we have Misty voicing Trey’s sister Pilika. And the moment Pilika stepped on screen I liked her. She was tossing shit around, doing fun stuff, she brought even more charm to the cast that it didn’t have before. And when she finds Trey is living with the guy he’s about to fight (and she finds in a pretty funny way,) she gets him the fuck out of there. So the two train some more, prepare for the fight, and then it happens. First Yoh finally gets a new pair of clothes, and I like it, he needed it. And then the fight with trey comes to. And it’s pretty dope, and with how well they were giving Trey credit, I really did believe he had it for a moment, but in the end Yoh won, which was expected. And then we’re told by Silva and some other dude Shaman King is more than caring for one people, it’s for all people, and that’s why Yoh is more fit for the job, and that kind of gave me a little more respect for the position of Shaman King. In the end this episode is an elite, and one of my favorite so far. The cast I’m really starting to like, and it proved now even characters like Anna can be good and relevant when things are going down, and the these characters are so different from one another it really is cool to see them contrast. All in all, a really great episode, and an excellent boost for the series.
