Episode 91 Review (Inheritance! The Necklace of Death!)Well this is a depressing episode. First the Naruto and Tsunade fight is dealt with, and really quickly. Tsunade’s finger must be on steroids. Anyway, after the fight Tsunade makes a deal with Naruto that if he can get the jutsu down in a week, she’ll give him her prize necklace that’s worth a fortune. But then Shizune comes to Naruto trying to explain the necklace through a FLASHBACK. We learn about her little brother who wanted to be Hokage, then she gave him the necklace, then he died. Then it goes to her old boyfriend who wanted to Hokage, then she gave him the necklace, then he died. See the pattern? So Naruto gets all serious and goes to train. Meanwhile Jiraiya meets up with Tsunade and they talk, and you can feel her world is just complete shit. And it actually is another good episode, I thought it went well. I just hope they aren’t going to be gloomy for three more episodes. But yeah, that’s a good back story for Tsunade, and I like this whole Sannin thing getting depth. All in all another good episode, I just hope they keep it up.
