So this book finishes the back-story of Gaara that for some reason is still going on after having a whole episode. Gaara’s uncle tells him before he dies that he has basically hates his guts all this time for killing his sister even though she died giving birth to him. He says he was ordered to kill Gaara, but he could of refused. He basically says Gaara means he can only love himself, and that he’s a monster. Then he sets off some explosives on his chest and blows himself to hell trying to take Gaara with him. Of course it doesn’t work, and Gaara is officially the psychopathic killer we know today. How they handled Gaara was really great. He was a sick murderous guy that you just wondered why nobody would put down. Than you see why he became that, and although your not behind him, you can understand him. And as he’s turning into a monster, you really see that there was a person in there. A person who had a live he didn’t really deserve. It’s all great, but this really should have been in the last episode. The fight didn’t start, and this really shouldn’t have taken a whole episode slot. It get a very high six for having the quality story, but they shouldn’t be stalling. It’s the typical problems with long anime and the big three, but just know it still has the quality story. I feel bad, but oh well.
