Episode 63 Review (The King is Dead)Only two to go. Here goes. First, the fight against Zeke continues, as the team continues the battle. But now they’ve decided it’s not about the rage or revenge, they already have Yoh in their heart, and Zeke does not. This is what flusters Zeke as he thinks Yoh belongs to him, but as Zeke fights blindly with rage, Amidamaru and the others get through to Yoh, and his spirit comes back to him. They fight Zeke, and they actually have the upper hand. Zeke’s little buddy Opacho is actually terrified of Zeke and runs off. And Zeke has finally cracked, and that’s the ultimate win. Until now he’s only been calm and confident, and never letting rage or doubt cloud his mind, and that allowed his overwhelming power to become seemingly infinite. But Zeke goes for it, he takes a last ditch effort to devour the King of Spirits, and he emerges with Spirit of Fire looking golden. And before he can completely walk out, Yoh makes the last ditch effort as well, using the double medium to strike. And the episode literally ends just as Yoh and Zeke are at it. And things are just at their highest right now. I got one more to go, and I’m about to watch it, all I know is that things are going along so smoothly. I plan to do a series review, and some characters review, but besides those, this is really going to be it. I’m excited, as I do love this series, and this will be one of those battles that’ll be remembered. Zeke and Yoh, they’re two opposites, and two of the same. I know we’ve entered some clichés with things like that, but Zeke is such an awesome villain. This is good verses evil at its finest, and I just hope everyone survives, if not I’ll be very sad. But who’ll be the new Shaman King?
