When was the last time we had an episode title without an exclamation point? Well things look like they’re getting intense as it is finally time for Tsunade to make a decision. She keeps seeing FLASHBACKS (short ones at least) of her old brother and boyfriend. And she seems to have made her mind as she spikes Jiraiya’s drink the night before the big decision, and as Shizune finally after a week of not doing nothing, finally stands up to her, she knocks her unconscious. And as Naruto has been training not stop for the past week, he’s pretty beat up. So he’s suppose to be out for a couple days but because the Nine-Tails Fox seems to be the solution to everything, he gets up the next morning. Also Jiraiya is up and at about thirty percent. But Kabuto (who seems to be a lot more boring than usual) goes after Shizune, but rethinks the situation after seeing Jiraiya. But oh snap, he stops Tsunade from healing Orochimaru. But this of course won’t be a real betrayal, despite that seems like the sensible thing to do from the FLASHBACK that Kabuto had it would fit his character. No for the plot to move forward it will of course be for some other reason that we’ll talk about in the next episode. But all in all, I thought the episode moved the story along with good pace, and it was faster than usual. We moved a whole week, and it didn’t take forty episodes to do, so that’s impressive. Anyway, it was a good episode, really heated things up, and I like the direction. I just hope this arc wraps up as soon as possible.
