Episode 7 (Underwater Flowers of Hanada City) Review
OMG! Misty a gym leader! How could we have known!? You know, unless you played the game. Anyway, the gang arrives in Cerulean City, or Hanada City in its Japanese name. And Misty avoids it like the plague. So as she sneaks off, Brock and Ash come a across a crime scene. Apparently a large vacuum and hose are stolen *GAPS!* A vacuum! No fucking way! That definitely deserved the surrounding scene of people acting like somebody just got shot. Anyway, apparently Brock has got better shit to do, so he takes off, so it’s just Ash who goes to the gym. And apparently they’re more of swimmers than fighters. So they’re about to just give Ash his badge when Misty shows up, taking on Ash. But they’re fight gets interrupted, and Team Rocket invades, they get beat, the sisters see Ash deserves a badge, and that’s pretty much it. Goes about how you think it will, and it’s still a very good episode. I’m thinking a light four. The sisters did have personality, and I did laugh a little. And that fucking Seel, that thing deserves a meme or something, because it was awesome. It just needs a Koffing face, and it will be perfect. Anyway, very nice episode, Misty grew a little bit bigger in people’s eyes I think because of this. Anyway, next time, the nice guy torture trainer!
