I personally think if Vegeta and Nappa were the first sign of alien life in real life it would be awesome! You know, besides the part where they kill us all. Anyway Vegeta and Nappa start off with a bang, as Nappa just kills tons innocent people within seconds of their arrival. Those people were never revived… oh well who really cares! But I have to say that’s a hell of an entrance, I mean Nappa starting off as a nuke blowing up a city, that’s how you say you mean business. And shortly after Vegeta and Nappa make way for Gohan and Piccolo, (going after those with the highest power level) Of course Vegeta isn’t who he is later, for now he is just Scouter Vegeta. He is a bad ass, and has good chemistry with Nappa, but he’s only a fraction of his epicness later, but don’t worry, we’ll get to those reviews eventually. And while all this is going on Yajirobe takes it as a chance to get a lot of money to buy lots of food… such a inspiration! But soon Vegeta and Nappa find Gohan, Piccolo, and even Krillen after his own training. It was cool to see a reunion between Krillen and Gohan after a year, but it’s over soon as the Saiyans are overhead. I’m not going to lie, while watching it just now I got goosebumps when Vegeta and Nappa appeared over the others, it really starts to get real at that moment. Vegeta even reveals to Piccolo that he’s an alien, one from Namek. Foreshadowing is always welcome, and to see Piccolo learn his heritage isn’t as dramatic compared to Goku, but like Vegeta said the green skin and pointy ears were a dead give away. It even goes to Kami as he realizes he when making the Dragonballs was actually fulfilling a yearning to bring a part of his home with him. He’s a Namekian, and I guess making dragonballs is what they do. But things begin to get serious as even before the rest of the z-warriors arrive Nappa plants seeds, and thus growing the saibamen. The little green men that are really just crazy freaks, they really are the most random idea anyone’s ever come up with. The episode ends with the heroes standing against the villains, waiting for what’s next. This is definitely a good episode, and is opening a much bigger main event sure to come.
