Yes, a long title, but I actually think it’s a good one for once. And there are no exclamation marks or annoying shit like that, so why not? I mentioned in the last review it really felt like a jolt. This one is slower, but still moves at a wonderful pace. We really see the best of the leaf village, and see everyone. Parents and children are working together, the Gaara and Naruto fight ends, and the Third Hokage leads it with his fight against Orochimaru. First Third Hokage. Seeing it’s impossible to take all of Orochimaru down with him, he cuts him off at the arms, and dies taking those, making it impossible for Orochimaru to use any jutsu. He even with the terrible last minutes of life, smiles, and his last sight is the child form of Orochimaru, which just says something right there. In the end this episode had all the moments, and did everything in these two episodes, I just don’t know why it took so long, and why some episodes only had a percentage of the story and action in this one. It was a epic finale, and I know it’ll follow up into the end of season two, but I really have to say it was very touching and epic on the grandest of proportions. I still think episode 1,19, and 64 are better, but just my opinion. It still had a epic end, and I know I’ve said epic too many times already, but there are no other words. Epic was created for times like this. People will go back in time and ask why the guy who invented the word epic chose to do what he did, and he’ll just say, "So people can have a word when describing the fight between Gaara vs. Naruto and Orochimaru vs. the Third Hokage, duh.” It was one of those classic good vs. evil for the sake of protecting those you love, and that’s been done a trillion times, but it’s still a good finale in my opinion. And yes, Naruto, who couldn’t even form a shadow clone jutsu went up against… that thing. Gaara himself is a thing, but what he turned into was really something else. I feel the fights were just about as they could have been, and the episode has little flaws. Maybe not having that electricity of the last one, or having some minor execution problems, but otherwise, nearly a ten. This definitely still makes my top five episodes so far either way.
