Whatever your clone can do, mine can do better! Our season begins right where season one left off, with the random clones standing in front of our opponents. Naruto tries destroying them, but when the clone doesn’t fade, and just returns itself, it seems there’s a lot more going on. They actually aren’t real, but the kunai being thrown at them by the real ninja they can’t see are real, and so they already after being exhausted exhaust themselves more. Then Naruto gets the good idea of just destroying them, then the others join in, and for the rest of the night exhaust themselves until the sun comes up and the ninja finally reveal themselves. But then turns out Naruto had been fighting them all himself, and the others were transformed shadow clones. Then the other ninja use one last attack, and make normal clones. (Not shadow clones, only illusions) They tried to hide underground, but the others finally got through and beat them. That’s a dumbed down version of the fight, but it was pretty interesting and used a lot of strategy, and proved Naruto could fight for a long time. The team finally has two scrolls, and walk into the tower. Then surprise, we see as Kabuto walks into the tower that Orochimaru is there and he gives him a info card telling him all about who we can guess is Sasuke or Naruto. Yep, Kabuto was a traitor. Then our episode ends as squad seven read a sign in the tower that pretty much says they can open the scrolls, and ends just before they open them. The episode is decent, and interesting. It’s right between a six and a seven for me, and in the end I’ll give it a reluctant seven. Anyway we’re finally at the end of the Forest of Death and the beginning of Season two. Yay!
