Episode 99 Review (The Will of Fire Still Burns!)So Konohamaru is still acting kind of childish, and that mostly takes up the episode. He’s locked himself in a Hokage room and armed it full of traps. Before anyone can get it, Naruto and Tsunade show up. Tsunade puts Naruto in charge to get a day off, as it’s an excuse. And throughout the episode she does Hokage things, and you feel she’s taking the job more seriously. Lee is still walking around town with a depressed face, and Tsunade goes into Konohamaru’s room and nonchalantly disarms all the traps just to grab a book, then leaves. Really cool scene. And she actually looks into helping Lee, and Konohamaru finally gives in, and gets what the Hokage is, and the sacrifices they must make. And that’s about it, pretty chill episode. I want Sakura to do something, when was the last time she had any cool moment whatsoever? I know there is a filler arc coming up at episode 101, and it’ll be interesting to see where that goes, I just hope it gets more character development going.
