Type: Grass, poison If you’re here wondering what kind of review this is, let’s get an introductory out of the way. As I review characters, and Pokemon are characters, I’m going to attempt to review each and every Pokemon, and in order. And of course, starting off, is Bulbasaur. Concept Art: In the first gen, Pokemon were simple, and I liked that. But they had their own originality with most of their Pokemon that really isn’t seen as much. Who thinks of a dinosaur with bud on it’s back? And that bud also represents about Bulbasaur becoming into something greater in the evolutionary process. Just something about Bulbasaur looks cool. Each of the first three Pokemon starters look like kids, then turned into teenagers, then old dudes. This is just a little kid, but you know, a dinosaur that’s kind of plant… that’s Pokemon for you.  Games: So what should our first Pokemon be. Hmm… make a dinosaur plant… yeah. They must have been high when they were making Bulbasaur. Anyway, my first real Pokemon game was Pokemon Leaf Green. However, I don’t even remember who I chose .I have all three now, and I really could have gotten any of them. (Pretty sure it was Charmander though) But with the first gen the starters are probably my favorite set. They are easily the most nostalgic, and who doesn’t love these three? Bulbasaur is adorable as he is a ass kicking bad ass. Seriously, Solarbeam, it can make anything look intimidating. Bulbasaur gets a 4/5
