Episode 6 Review (A Dangerous Mission! Journey To The Land Of The Waves!)

Episode 6 Review (A Dangerous Mission! Journey To The Land Of The Waves!)

That definitely the most intense chase of a cat ever. Anyway the squad as ninjas now are allowed to do missions, but because they are low trained Genin, they are given D ranked missions which are mostly chores. The squad doesn’t like this, but Naruto is the one who speaks about it aloud. The Third Hokage gives Naruto what he wants, and gives him a C ranked mission, and he and his friends must guard a bridge builder on his way into the land of waves. Of course just several steps out of the village Naruto is already trying to attack the client, and there are strange people lurking around the others. Kakashi even breaks up how the different ninja villages on the continent work, and for the show that’s important. Soon however the team is attacked by the people who’d been lurking by before, and seemingly killed Kakashi. But Sasuke pretty much stops them saving the group, then Kakashi pops out of nowhere and defeats them both. Sasuke even insults Naruto for doing nothing. Naruto gets really upset by his rival doing this, and finds out the wound is full of poison. Kakashi like the bad ass he is knew all this was going on, and let the two men attack just so they knew what they were after: which was the bridge builder. He puts the pieces together and turns out the Bridge Builder has ninja after him, which would make it a B ranked mission. For Genin, that’s really bad. So seems like the gang is headed for home, but not on Naruto’s watch. He stabs his wound taking out the poison with his kunai knife, and makes a dramatic pledge never to run away again or be a coward. But Kakashi tells him flatly now he’ll probably bleed to death. Oh Naruto is so smart. Luckily because of the Nine-Tailed Fox Naruto healed on his own, and won’t die. Then our episode ends with a showing of who is after the bridge builder, some guy in a suit and a very threatening man named Zabuza: the demon in the mist. It’s only about a second long, but it’s a pretty cool introduction. In the end this episode is really nice. Your starting to see the squad grow as their own personality, and you get to know the world with the rankings and different villages. Not to mention the small fight along with the introduction to Zabuza was pretty cool. You get more good moments with Kakashi and Sasuke, and it moves with a good pace, and starts the conflict of the first saga of Naruto. Ultimately it’s a good episode that keeps up with the last  couple.
