I think this is the episode you realize how good of a show Breaking Bad is. Not one scene I found like it wasn’t useful to the story or characters, it all came beautifully. First I’ll tell what Walt is up to, then Jesse. Walt tells everybody he has cancer, and uses what money he had to pay for a guy to basically tell him everything about it. And he gets approached by Jesse how tells him if wants to come back to cook he can. And of course the treatment will be THOUSANDS of dollars. And one of my favorite scenes, that one scene at the very end. There is this guy, and he is the ultimate douchebag. He sees him before in the episode, and takes his bullshit up the ass. BUT NO. He does this thing that probably won’t work in real life but he does this thing to his car, and it just blows up. He doesn’t even look behind him, yeah that’s the bad Walt coming to. Just saying, one of the best moments in this show. And of course Jesse has his own shit going on. He meets with his old friends, and they just get him to keep going on drugs. But he goes back to his parents house, and it’s really great. They have this perfect son and here’s this other son in the backyard just fucking with them. And you know they’re not the parents who are suppose to have this kind of kid, Jesse is just kind of a stain on their life, and they don’t know what to do with him. And yeah, they kick him out after finding he has some bud. But TWIST. It’s the kid’s bud, and I like how they handled that. Then he’s like… "Can I get that back?” And Jesse’s like "Nah,” then crumples it before he hands it to him. Sorry, I really love that scene too. It just said something. Anyway, fantastic fucking episode, never stopped for a moment, and it hit every part it was suppose to. It is by far my favorite episode so far, and it showed this show’s full potential. Each character was improved, it had great moments, and the story progressed very well. Just a fantastic episode.
