Episode 2 Review (The Cat's In the Bag)

Episode 2 Review (The Cat's In the Bag)

HOLY SHIT! Remember that one time I did a Television Review? Yeah, they are officially back on… even though they weren’t really ever there to begin with. Like my anime reviews, I have no idea how long this series will take, and it’s taken a couple months for episode 2, so we’ll see. And our episode begins with… Walt making love with his wife. Okay… anyway back to reality. A strange man helps pull the R.V. out of a ditch. The guys come back in and after a discussion, they find out one of the guys lived. But things go a little more back to normal as the R.V. and the guy is parked at Jesse’s house. But he calls Walt freaking out (Walt’s wife really gets into that, tracing the call and everything) But Walt finds the escaped guy just walking through the streets… and it’s actually kind of funny. But they take him back, and they have heads or tails on who kills one guy, and who gets rid of the body of the other one. (Walt gets kill the guy) So he confronts him and… he makes him a sandwich and gets him some water. And what does he do after that? Rolls a joint and smokes it of course! And so Jesse comes home, and they agree on their failure. Walt goes to the doctor with his wife to see if her baby is a boy or girl (big chance in scenery, eh?) and it’s a girl. And she asks who Jesse is, and Walt says he sells him pot, and she needs to climb out of his ass. It is actually again really funny for some reason. And meanwhile Jesse moves the body inside, and Walt’s wife pops up and busts his balls, and leaves just like that. But he continues on (after smoking some crystal of course) and he puts the guy in his tub, and tries to destroy him with acid there. But that doesn’t work out as Walt stops by, and the two watch as the entire fucking floor bursts down giant rain of blood and guts. It’s just so… ugh. In the end, this was another fantastic episode. It carried on the pilot greatly, and that ending was really something. Walt is a bad ass by episode two also. He smokes bud, gets laid, and is too busy to kill a guy. Cause ain’t nobody got time for that! And just Jesse’s facial expressions, that’s fun in itself. And somehow this episode was kind of funny. Funny in that way you’re really nervous about laughing, and there is never that punch line so it’s kind of just hanging. But episode 2 is down, and ultimately it is another really great episode, and hopefully the rest will follow suit.
