I'm Not Introducing You gets a 3/5

So I’m Not Introducing you is basically Hopsin’s anti-hoe song. First I want to get all the bad of my chest first. One, Hopsin in a lot of songs mentions doing chicks, and yes I know it’s a mixed bag, and that some of his cocky songs he has to do that, but when you already kind of look a little hypocritical on your songs, this doesn’t help. I personally don’t have a problem with it, but I can see why other people might not like it. Second, the last verse mentions slapping chicks again. At this point I think Hopsin might actually be saying this seriously. I didn’t mention it in the Sag My Pants review, but I never liked that part of the hook. Now it’s mentioned again, and I’m starting to not like it. I’ve heard people use smack as a form of saying diss or humiliate, but in this song it’s hard to deflect it. Finally, I don’t like the theme kind of the girls meeting his mom. It gets the point across that they have to be good girls that he dates, but I really don’t think want to hear Hopsin rap about introducing chicks to his mother. It’s a little cheesy, but otherwise it fits the anti-hoe theme, which is actually good. It’s basically a big shit on chicks who act like a whore. There is also another kind of weed diss and yet not. He says "No charcoal breath who be hitting a stogie, and not one saying shit to blow me.” Maybe that’s why Hopsin has a dislike for weed, he made out with a chick who’s breath just really stank. Anyway as far as lyrics go, it actually is one of the best ones on the album, or at least for skill. It’s clever, the statement is obvious, and it’s really likeable. Making a anti hoe song isn’t the hardest topic in the world, but since nobody else really has the balls to do it, it’s nice to know somebody is. As far as sound goes, this one is all right. Back when I listened to the album a lot, this one did stick with me, just not for very long. It’s catchy, but could get repetitive eventually. But it’s still a good song, and adds more flavor for the album, and this I really do think needs to be in there. It’s one of the more memorable songs, and a good pickup after Trampoline. It might even make my top five, but let’s wait until we review the full album before me make a list.
