Okay, so things just kind of happen. Jiraiya, or at least dumbed down Jiraiya who has drugs in his veins fights dumbed down Orochimaru (okay he gets a pass) and the fight isn’t really that cool. Meanwhile Shizune, Tsunade, and Naruto have to take down Kabuto, which I guess is the big villain in this, because he’s doing A LOT more than anyone else. And no, rather than letting shit hit the fan, they’re still not going to let that happen, they’re going to bash into your mind how much Naruto wants to become Hokage, and how much of an underdog he is. They better just give a fucking good fight without all this shit coming in constantly. Yeah, back when it was ninja student versus ninja student one after another, it was o.k. But this isn’t a fight, this is just story, the same story against Haku, against Gaara, and against Neji. And fuck me, it’s kind of annoying. I mean, it’s really entertaining and all that, but I just wanted something here. I remember in the manga it was more fighting, and I’m not saying it should just be fighting, but if there is going to be story, incorporate more with the Sanin, it’s more about them anyway. I don’t give a shit about how much Naruto wants to become Hokage if that’s all you want to talk about. Why was Shizune thrown away so easily, why is Tsunade being a bitch, why can’t Jiraiya have a move that can take out a cripple? It’s just so irritatingly convenient, and normally I’d be fine, but they’re setting it up for Naruto hyping his dream to be Hokage again and hitting a Rasengan? I just have more problems to talk about rather than good, but don’t get me wrong, it had awesome moments. And the end is awesome. But Kabuto just being a bully and Orochimaru having so little interactions with his counterparts when this was their time, it just is a little much. I was expecting a nine, but we’ll see in the next couple. For now, I’m a little disappointed.
