Oh, the gears turn! Light, you calculating bastard! Anyway, Light seems to be Kira. All the evidence points to him, you have no idea why he’s acting like he is. Then Misa suddenly starts yelling about how she’s being stalked, and is yelling about Light when before she was completely silent about him. And to throw it in, Light’s dad throws himself in confinement for the sake of it. (there’s a reason, it’s just kind of forced) Anyway, after that Light says “get rid of it,” and his master plan goes into effect. Ryuk bails and we have no more Kira, only good old studious Light Yagami. And now L is staring at three victims who have no idea why the fuck they’re in custody. Then boom, after a long silence, two week’s worth of criminals are dead, just like that. So yeah, L is staring at a big ass puzzle with no piece to find fit in the middle. And yeah, the best part of this episode is you scratching your head wondering what the fuck Light’s doing. And it kind of just cuts off, so it loses a couple points for that, but overall this was another great episode. Death Note when it doesn’t dip in quality has these high notes that just sing, and they’re really great. And boy, are we about to hit a high note... followed by quite the dip.
