So things look like they’ve calmed down… completely. And we’re back to the STUPID FUCKING EPISODE NAMES. Anyway. First, Sakura sees Naruto in the hospital (after he ditched it to get some ramen then went back again) and then she starts acting really weird… for a moment I actually thought she was going to kill herself or something. But no, she decided to go after Sasuke all on her own, like a genius! Now, let’s pause. At this point, Sakura is clearly going to step into the spotlight for a little while. Now, what if Sakura actually did something worthy of being bad ass. What if she went on her own five to ten episode arc where she did all sorts of kick-assery by herself, snuck into where Sasuke was hiding, and then had an epic finish that somehow helped the story grow, Sakura grow as a character, and make everything cooler. And something like that might happen, right?… oh wait no, because Sakura is going to be fucking useless. I’m sorry, but now after an entire arc where she literally sat on a bench, and she’s going to get all insecure. And not only that, insecure because she does nothing! Well thank you for reminding me of that instead of making her actually do something! And I like girl power in anime, and in any media. Whenever a character is awesome, it seems it’s almost more bad ass if it’s a chick. Characters like the female Shepard from Mass Effect prove sometimes things are cooler and more bad ass if it’s only a chick doing it. And I don’t like all my favorite characters being male, and the ones who can cause the biggest battle field fart of destruction. But good God, why can’t she just DO SOMETHING! So yeah, Naruto and Jiraiya stop her on her way out, and the three together go out and are going to look for the Sound Village. And then they stop in this town and get into a funny and entertaining shenanigan… anyone? So yeah, with another filler arc on it’s way, and once that’s over an entire filler FUCKFEST to continue until the show is over, it looks like we’re going to be having to roast some Naruto for awhile. Let’s see if they can pull things off and get some good character development… or just suck. Please God, don’t let it suck right when things were going good!
