Episode 5 Review (Gray Matter)

 Episode 5 Review (Gray Matter)

All right, in this episode, life seems to just be progressing. Walt on one hand carries on with his cancer shitty life, and Dizzy goes on with his no job and shitty existence life. Let’s go through Jesse’s time first. He tries getting a job, but not having a college degree kind of stops any chance of that happening, but he runs into his old friend Badger, who was spinning a sign outside of a business so you know what that says. And Badger wants to cook with him, and Jesse not liking his chances at making money any other way, agrees. So they go to the R.V. and get cooking. And with what Jesse learned from Walt, he’s better. But not good enough, as he feels his work isn’t as good, and dumps it, which sends Badger apeshit. So when he’s still upset with the next badge, they start getting into a big fight. And it’s a legit fight. Like crossbows and dust in the face kind of fight. And Jesse drives away, sulking, he’s back at his place when Walt shows up asking to cook. And Walt while this was going on his skin met up with some old college smart people, and they’re really successful. And it gets around that Walt has cancer, and they ask to pay for his treatment, which he declines. So Skylar sets up a intervention… for a cancer patient… yeah. And yeah, it seems in the end the group comes closer to a decision of letting Walt stick it out rather than get treated. So then Walt after a very long decision decides to get treatment, but he’s sure as hell not getting help from his ex, so he goes to Jesse asking to cook. And all in all it was a good episode. Wasn’t as gripping as some, but it’s the calm before the storm. And Badger was introduced, and that was fun to watch. The episode as a whole had enough entertaining things to watch, not to mention had enough cool shit and dialogue to make for a good episode. The scenes were important, if not as exciting as a dude dying or something to do with cooking meth. All in all a good episode, and I’ll see you at the next one.
