Episode 15 Review (Wager)

 Episode 15 (Wager) Review

So in this episode we have a collision between our two masterminds. Light, who now has his murderous gal pal at his side has decided to use her and Rem to kill L, and he has no regrets. Then when L appears out of nowhere, and then says, “Hey I told everyone if I die in a couple of days your prime suspect.” So yeah, that puts Light a couple steps back. Then they happen to stumble into Misa, and yeah, L meets her, and they have a fun little banter. But oh no, Misa learns L’s name. So when Light calls her... L picks up. *troll face* and it seems he accidentally picked up her phone. And then he tells Light she’s in custody as prime suspect of the second Kira... and god damn Light’s world’s crumble. I love the whole standing on the city rooftops thing they do by the way, it’s a powerful visual. Anyway, Misa is in custody, being interrogated, and the only way out seems to be relinquishing her death note. She’ll forget her memories as the second kira, loses Rem, and thus lose her knowledge, and hopefully be let go. (because I guess she’s too much of a wuss to keep being interrogated for long) And then at the end of the episode, L turns to Ryuk and says goodbye. Cliff hangers! Anyway, I love the shit out this episode. The mind games flipped on themselves in one episode! And L just trolled Light when he should have been dead that day. And the whole thing with Misa was handled well, and you could see she’s there for a reason and contributes to the story. Anyway, great fucking episode, love the shit out of it with a capital L.
