On to Episode 42! This episode is basically more the same of the last. More Dragonball collecting, a little more of Vegeta healing, and a little more of Goku trying to train as he’s healing. Gohan and the others jump into some tornadoes, ride some giant birds, and soon find a giant. It’s very Dragonball-ish and in the end a little more entertaining than what happened last time, but not much. I actually found Goku’s training more entertaining than most of the actual Dragonball collecting. It shows pretty much why Goku is stronger than Vegeta. While Vegeta rests easy Goku is getting stronger while he heals. And if after every time a Saiyan is hurt and recovers, think how much stronger Goku gets while getting hurt while he recovers. All I know Gohan and the others are a bunch of dicks to this oversized giant. First they steal his Dragonball, and rather than escape by flying out they have to for some reason escape on a airplane they barely know how to work. So not only do they steal his airplane toy, his Dragonball, but Gohan and Krillin pretty much kill him. Cutting a person’s belly with a Destructo Disk and blasting his shoulder off usually does that. And that giant didn’t do a damn thing! But I guess it’s okay, because almost immediately after it’s revealed that the giant and his house aren’t even real. But the episode ends as Vegeta finally awakes and is back to health. In the end the episode isn’t that great, but a little more entertaining than the last. Goku and Vegeta back even as side characters is important to the story, and the searching wasn’t bad either, and the giant and the tornado were more interesting than what happened in the last episode.  Episode 42 (The Search Continues) gets a 2/5 (Received No Badges)
