So Goth Assault, what a great title, right? Right? Eh… So Zeke runs into Anna, and I have to say this is one of the best moments ever in Shaman King. Zeke’s being Zeke and tells Anna to be sure to deliver the book to Yoh. Then Zeke gets in her face and is kind of matter-of-factly says if you want to be Shaman King you should marry me. That’s weird considering he’s like how many years old, but Anna’s reaction is gold. She tries to slap him, but Zeke catches it. (First person ever to do so) And what is Anna’s reaction? Other hand! Yes, she bitch slaps Zeke. Anna’s a bad ass. And Anna catches a ride with the girls, and that’s the last we see of her until the end of the episode. Meanwhile Zeke sends three of his followers to fight Yoh. They’re all girls (a lot of female antagonists in this show) and they are suppose to cut the group down to one. And for the most part they kick the group’s ass. Yeah even Yoh, who they are making out to be the strongest, even he gets nearly beaten. But saving him just in time, is Anna. And the girls run away, and Anna proves why she’s awesome once again. I know in the earlier episodes I was nervous about how she was acting (like a complete bitch) but now it has turned into a good character, and somehow fitting into a fun Shonen anime.
