This episode is another that is a little more focused on Goku running along Snake Way rather than the others. It shows Krillen and the others atop Korin Tower, and some other parts with the others but besides that it’s mostly all Goku. This was one of the more quirky episodes that come off a little weird for me. If you’ve ever seen the DBZ abridged episodes on Youtube then you’d know this is probably one of their episodes that’s actually more entertaining than the original. Goku is basically captured by Princess Snake, and thinks she’s King Kai. In the mix somehow Princess Snake gets thrown to the ground… Goku, the hero threw a chick onto the ground… well after some weird DBZ moments it turned out she was some kind of snake monster… yeah a bit of a weird episode for me. Although the episode is also quirky, it is actually pretty god damn mature for kids. Goku is slipped drugs first off, in an attempt for him to stay prisoner. Also one of Princess’s maids kills herself for what seems like a fun game of chance. I don’t have the slightest care if DBZ goes darker, but shit suicide for a quick laugh? Eh, why the hell not. One thing I can say about this episode is does make me feel like the journey down Snake Way is a little more interesting, and that Goku didn’t just simply run all the way there.
