Episode 82 Review (Eye to Eye: Sharingan vs. Sharingan)

So episode seems to reveal a lot. First there are seven ninja swordsmen, one of them was Zabuza, and another is Kisame. Also there are nine people in a group known as the Akatsuki. Itachi, Kisame, and seven other people make up this group, and Orochimaru is a former member. They seemingly want Naruto, and it has something to do with the Nine-Tailed Fox. And since there are nine Akatsuki, and nine spirits like the nine-tailed fox, I’ll go out a limb and say they want the power of all nine for all nine of themselves. That isn’t revealed, but I can guess. And good God, Itachi is a monster. He basically tortures Kakashi by stabbing him repeatedly for days (even though it was suppose to feel longer) in his own little dimension in his head. Yeah, just by looking at him. That was really one of the most disturbing moments in the series, and it happened to possibly my favorite character next to Shikamaru. And Kisame seems to have his own back-story complete with six other characters that could be really cool. Might Guy saves the day, and Itachi and Kisame back off, knowing a full scale battle with reinforcements wouldn’t be good (although not afraid of taking on a whole village) And meanwhile Naruto is about to finally leave the village. The episode again I want to give a six, but the other side of me knows it deserves a seven, and I’ll give it that, because it really deserves it. And how dare Naruto, right when I’m ready to walk away for a bit they add all these extra story and characters that’ll probably lead to arcs in both Naruto and Shippuden. But I will still be taking a break after the next episode, but I’ll definitely be interested to come back eventually.
