Thank you! So, the real fight finally begins. Naruto hits his Rasengan, and it’s pretty bad ass. But Kabuto was two steps ahead of him, stopping his heart and quickly healing. But they both fall anyway, as Kabuto is out of chakra. And meanwhile Orochimaru seems to avoid Jiraiya and goes for Naruto, saying how if the Akatsuki got him, that would be bad. So he kind of conveniently gets Jiraiya down, then attacks Naruto. But Tsunade gets in the way, and she gets stabbed, like really stabbed. Then she gets in the way again. And again. And meanwhile Shizune and Jiraiya are just too hurt. She decides to go one more time into the necklace Hokage scenario, and gives Naruto the necklace he earned. But she gets up from her injuries, and then that little diamond on her forehead starts to transform into a really crazy design. Apparently she stored a shit ton of chakra there over the years, and is now using it to heal, and then kicks Orochimaru’s face in. Then everyone gets to their own area, and then the summoning jutsus come out all around! Giant toads, slugs, and snakes for everyone! Seriously, does a slug describe Tsunade’s personality more than a snake does Orochimaru. Is she really gross and slow? Is that the idea behind Tsunade? Anyway, this episode definitely stepped it up, and this was the one I should have hyped. Naruto and Tsunade have a weird symbolic relationship, and that’s better than the I’m gonna be Hokage speech drilled into our mind for the thousandth time. Anyway, love this episode, it got the fighting, it got the character development, and it got those awesome moments.
