So yeah, last week was one of the worst weeks in awhile. So I think at that point I would have taken just about anything. Put they pulled out a pretty good show, I was impressed early on. Impressed in that way I’m surprised it didn’t suck way. The opening was interesting enough, showing off all the Elimination members. It was weak at parts, but it was good. Then Christian had his sort of heel turn as he fought Daniel Bryan. I think that would be good for his character, but he’s leaving soon I’m pretty sure, so why bother? I mean unless he’s leaving for good, I think all he needs are some good matches and not completely bury him. Although if he’s staying, I don’t mind. Anyway, after that Kane fought Bryan. And just saying, if they’re doing Triple H vs. Bryan at Wrestlemania to replace Punk because he left, I’ll be pissed. However, the matches were okay, I was loosely paying attention. Then Mark Henry fought Roman Reigns, giving him more and more hype. After Wrestlemania I don’t know how he won’t get a title shot, especially since the Shield looks like it’ll end soon. After that, Kofi fought Swagger. I loved these two matches they did back to back. First, Jack beat Kofi, giving himself some hype before the paperview. Then Big E had a handicap match where Zeb taunted him the entire time. That’s how you handle the middle card, it doesn’t need to be that engaging. But it should be relevant enough, and not be put in there for the sake of it. I mean you got three hours Raw, you can make time for your mid belts. But even if that’s less hype and stuff that I think should go into a mid card title match, it’s at least more than usual. Anyway, the Real Americans continued to follow up, and even provided the match of the night. That would be Cesaro (because Antonio Cesaro was too long!) vs. Cena. And yes, Cesaro kicks ass. Those uppercuts, you got to love them. And Cesaro lands the F.U. better than Shawn Michaels, and that sir, is damn impressive. Any guy that can land that bitch, and toss Cena like a bitch has my respect, and my vote as a future world champion. To be honest I’d prefer him over Randy Orton right now. After that we get a little more pointless with the Matadores and Sin Cara vs. The Wyatts. And filler, made Wyatts look good, I don’t mind. But I’m starting to turn the Wyatts into those weekly guys, where if they don’t show up for a week and wrestle, I get upset. Anyway, after that Billy Gunn and Jay Uso. To be honest, that makes no sense to me. The New Age Outlaws are heels and faces, and they’re going up against baby faces, it makes no sense. If they’re going to do the DX brand stuff, at least turn it into a heel version. Anyway, Jay won by a roll up. I mean, it’s kind of cool Jay Uso defeated a attitude era legend, but besides that, I didn’t find it that cool. But then there was Sheamus and Orton. And God, if they took this match seriously, and had it straight forward, it would have been sad. Seriously, Cesaro stole the night, and after that you follow it up with that main event that has no real winner because they both need to look good, (then again Orton has been getting buried lately…) then it’s not going to compare. So they finished it off with a big clusterfuck of fighting where it cut off the air. I don’t know why the Shield started it, they don’t really attack random dudes anymore, but it was all right. Hard night to finish, I get it. Better than last week’s dullest finish ever. But it was overall a good night, everyone I wanted to see on their A game was… you know besides Punk. *tear*
