You Are My Enemy gets a 3/5

All right we are on song three from the Raw Album, and the next one up is You are my enemy. You are my enemy is a revengeful type song more about a backlash to those who’s stabbed Hopsin in the back over the years. For the album it’s a very nice edition, it goes from the opening song, cocky fuck you song, and then to the revengeful song, and so we’re already at varied album already. I really like the first verse in this song, but as time goes on it gets a little worse as it goes on. The other verses are a little less relate-able  but I can’t discourage Hopsin for making the song about his life, that’s what keeps it real. Personally the first verse hit a little more after that though. Besides that the only problem I have with the song is within the chorus. It sounds good, that’s not a problem. But Hopsin says, "I’m never calling you again, I’m not your buddy, I’m not your pal. You are my enemy. He could have easily rhymed again with friend. If he said friend instead of pal it would have worked just a little bit better. Not to mention I don’t think he says the main line "you are my enemy” enough. That moment is the best sounding and best powerful moment, and I just wanted more of it. Also this doesn’t at all discourage the song, but this music video isn’t really good. It really does just seem as average as it could have been. But besides that it’s a dope song, and Hopsin gives enough emotion to gain the musical message badge, as it sends a more direct message of Hopsin’s life than both Hot 16's and Sag My Pants. The song also seems to follow the idea of a list Hopsin is making, and slowly taking each one on the list once. He’s like Santa except a psychopath! I like both the other songs better, but this one is right up there for Hot 16s, and these songs together already have the ingredients of an awesome album.
