This episode is basically a roundup of what’s going on with all the characters. Weather it’s Turtle and Roshi, Tien and sneezing chick who’s name I can’t ever seem to remember, to just about anything else. It’s good to see all the characters, and it shows a lot on Tien’s character for every line he says. Some other stuff goes on, like Goku gets the cleverest idea of picking up a ride from a snake way cleaner who says he’s only gone about a forth of the way to King Kai’s place. But Piccolo then does something crazy. He lifts a god damn pyramid with his mind! HIS MIND! And yet people think DBZ powers aren’t the best, but that’s a pyramid! WITH HIS MIND! And on terms for the whole show Piccolo is weak right now compared to later standards, which you can only imagine what he can lift later with his mind. But another part I loved right after that was when Gohan had the T-Rex running scared! A tailless T-Rex might I add! Some other crap happens, and some problems even occur like how Piccolo’s training almost kills Gohan by causing an earthquake and some more stuff, but it’s not really super entertaining, but it’s not at all dull either. But it kind of picks up when the crazy chick starts trying to shoot Krillin. Krillen gives the scoop to Tien as he did with Yamcha and Tien vouches to train under Kami to hopefully beat the Saiyans. Then the most unlikely thing happens and Goku falls off of Snake Way when the truck swerves just a little. But Goku sees some fruit on a tree, but just before grabbing it is hit and knocked out and we’re left with a cliff hanger. I don’t like cliff hangers for small anime episodes so I thought that was a little rough plus with how little is going on made this episode a lot slower for me. I mean it’s a nice little episode but it’s not at all really memorable aside from a couple good scenes. It still gets the character badge for Tien’s part as well as typical characters being themselves, but in the end I thought this episode was a little slower.
