Episode forty-five basically wraps up the fight with the Kiba. It’s a good strategy, they use the last episode to start the battle and fill in the story and emotional parts (for what little there were) and end with the fighting. This all could have probably fit into one episode, but whatever. This episode has Naruto and Kiba going back and forth, and also Naruto doesn’t ever use the Nine-Tails Fox for this, as it’s still sealed. This is one of the more well known fights that I know where Naruto doesn’t use the fox, and still wins. Most of the back and forth fighting makes it look like Naruto will actually lose, and with Sakura already not going to the finals, you can see that being possible. But Naruto picks up the win with a new "Uzumaki Barrage,” which would have been just a little bit cooler if Naruto hadn’t gotten the upper hand before that by farting… that was easily the worst part of the episode. Anyway I say this is a great episode, and even though I couldn’t see myself saying it’s one of my favorites, it’s easily one of the best episodes of this season so far. The next one I’m pretty sure is Neji and Hinata, so that one will be pretty awesome to see again. As for now Kiba and Naruto is probably the second best match so far in the Chunin Exam preliminaries, which reminds me I should probably make a top five matches out of these preliminaries list eventually. Anyway great episode, really liked it.  Naruto Episode 45 (Surprise Attack! Naruto’s Secret Weapon! Uzumaki Barrage!) gets a 4/5 Badges
