The majority of this episode is like the last one, and is mostly about fighting Nappa. But that’s not a bad thing at all. The characters who we’ve seen train for a year are slowly being picked off one by one, and it’s sad as it is intense. First you see Tien’s reaction to the death of his friend, but even then he doesn’t have much strength against Nappa. Piccolo and the others launch an attack against Nappa, but it is cut short from Gohan freezing up as Nappa is hurdling towards him. It was kind of disappointing cause you want Gohan to do it, and you’ve seen him grow up from the crying little kid from before, and you know he could do it. But the death of the others and all actual intimidation from Nappa is so above Gohan’s level you can’t help but feel like it’s not entirely his fault. Piccolo on the other hand doesn’t see it that way, and even tosses Gohan aside not carrying for his feelings. Those are reasons I love Piccolo and Gohan’s relationship as a student and master, they bring the best out of each other. But things start really getting intense when Tien rises back up, and he uses every last ounce he has for one final attack on Nappa. But again, it just wasn’t enough. Tien was gone from the second his arm got punched off, but his resiliency to the last second says a lot about his character, and how much he cares for his friend. That flashback was sad, I don’t care what anyone says. Tien is a very underrated DBZ character, and I’m happy whenever he can get a few moments. But then just as Nappa charges Piccolo and Krillen, Vegeta stops him. Vegeta knows that Goku is Kakarot, and he tells Nappa to wait three hours for him, so the real battle will begin. But if Goku doesn’t come back in time, the battle will resume with or without him. This episode really picks up right where the last one left off, and even though the last one had a little more surprises, this one still follows up fantastically. It’s epic, and ends more on a normal ending, and leaves you anxious to find out what happens next.  Episode 25 (Sacrifice) gets a 8/10 Badges
