So, for a quick summary, Earl is between quitting smoking, and meeting his old friend. His friend did prison time for a crime earl committed, and he’s crazy. But he’s found Jesus! Even got a tattoo of him on his chest. But his friend forgives him and our episode ends nicely… until he gets bitch slapped by a bible by his friend’s mom. But Earl decided to give her back two years of her life by making her quit smoking, while he quits as well. So they bond for three days, and we call it an episode. Some problems, like Joy wanted to kill Earl. I think that was a little extreme. And I don’t like how stupid Crabman is in the early episodes. But otherwise, it was a good episode. This was the stuff I remembered watching when I was younger, and it’s a simple good feeling show, and it was nice. Some shows blow you away once they get picked up after the pilot, but some don’t. I think they did good enough, and pulled out a good episode.
