And so the battle begins! Kabuto as I guessed didn’t do the smart thing and betray Orochimaru, much too troublesome for the forced plot and half ass battle to come. Okay turns out Tsunade was just going to try and kill Orochimaru rather than heal him, (Orochimaru’s response to Kabuto’s betrayal I guess is negated in the last episode…) So I guess Tsunade drugging Jiraiya to the point just so happens to be really dumbed down and knocking out her best friend was just her fucking around, right? So Kabuto happens to say let’s move this fight around. Of course Tsunade doing the Goku approach of just moving the fight would have been too nice of her I guess. So they move, and Tsunade happens to fight Kabuto on steroids, and he happens to get in the right moves that will dumb her down as well. But it is cool. I will give it that. Then Jiraiya and Naruto show up and Naruto learns Kabuto was kind of an ass. And you can tell that Naruto learning this wasn’t really planned in the plot, but it had to be filled just because well that’s life. So Naruto gets pissed and easily defeated. But then…. The EPISODE ENDS. Right when it was hitting it’s stride. Just saying I think the pacing was better in manga form when I could finish this in one sitting, and not drag episode after episode of it. But yeah, it was still cool, and it had good style and moved fluently. And yeah, I’m really excited for this fight. I don’t think I’ve ever been excited for a fight where everyone but the little kid is dumbed down or forced to become stronger with those stupid food excuses, but it’s about to go down, and hopefully it is awesome.
