So we’ve made it to the big fifty! And this is the first milestone where we’re actually close to finishing a series, and since I’ll actually be completing this series instead of just ending it on a season, I’m very happy. Anyway, the second rounds continue, and the trend of using them for character production before the final arc is still happening. Before Len, Rio, and Trey got turns, then Faust and Morty and a episode, but now it’s entirely team Len. There’s an enemy little girl (another female antagonist) and she’s basically making a cult. She forces people to realize the darkness in their heart, and swear allegiance to her to help them I guess. And so, her first target is Len, and then Trey. Then the big fight happens. And actually Trey is the worst of them. It’s not so much he’s consumed by the darkness, but he just is trying to avoid and escape it. Then there is Len, who does have a lot of darkness, but he’s already faced it head on, and is kind of cool with it, but it’s still predominant. And who saves the day? Joco. Yep, by basically getting everyone to laugh, he breaks the curse, and there’s a moral of facing the darkness in your heart. They thwart their enemy, who turned out not to even be a Shaman, and somehow even she was turned to the good side. (lot of characters who do that in this series) She makes friends, how adorable. Anyway, this was a great episode. Even as I was watching I was this is really good. This character spotlight thing I actually like. It’s one thing about Shaman King, I like that it can calm down and make little episodes, even during the second rounds of the tournament. It feels more fun when it can just not be in your face. Anyway, another great episode, go team Len.
