Well, I'm slowly going through my movie collection, and as I watch the movies again I will review them for you guys. Next of the list of movies is Accepted. I just finished watching Accepted, a movie about a kid who got rejected from every college he applied for, and before you know it he created his own. As far as partying college movie goes, this is one of the better ones, and due to it's PG-13 rating, seems to focus on making an actual quality movie rather than a lot of party movies. So much so I wouldn't even call this a party movie, as it is a lot more realistic than a lot of other college movies. First off I have to say the cast and characters are good, especially Jonah Hill and Justin Long, as I thought they were the best. For the characters I would have to say the guy with the afro would win simply for his amazing one liners. "Let's have a battle royal!" It'll make sense when you see the movie. One thing I noticed while I was watching the movie again, the second half of the movie was way better than the first. The first half the scenes seemed to quick, it wasn't even funny really, and the only two characters that really felt like they did in the second half were Justin Long's, Jonah Hill's, and the main character's family. But the second half is where the movie really does strive. The characters get better, the writing seems to improve, and it does get pretty funny. Also, the climax of the movie surprised me. I mean a comedy about college kids doesn't really fill in moral lessons about education really ever, so that was nice. At one point I felt the writer of the script was using their real emotion when he wrote certain lines, and that's a good thing. Plus, this movie does a good job at making you like this fake college, and the people within it. Making a large cast of students, each one with their own wildly unique personality, it feels like this really is a home for a very unique family. Usually when I watch movies taking place in college, I say to myself, "Man I wish college really was like that." But when I say in this movie, it takes on a whole new meaning. I would rather take colleges like this than party movie colleges, as this would actually help education and society. See, what kind of college movie makes a person use there brain this much? I guess it's Accepted, and Accepted actually had real emotions in it. Everyone knows what rejection feels like, everyone wants to have a fun way to learn, and this movie is like a little "what if" college. Not many people know about this movie, and I feel is is really overlooked, and people owe it to themselves to watch it, because it earns it.

Accepted gets a 3/5

Spoilers: "What the hell happened!?" "An explosion of flavor, I'm working on some very unstable herbs!" That was probably my favorite moment, or when the guy blew a car up with his mind. Well there was also, "Hey you, ask me about my wiener!" I think there were to many good moments to pick just one. One thing I didn't find that great was the romance. It seemed a little shaky at points, and the douche character could have been used better. But I have to say Justin Long's character's writing and attitude what gets this movie the character badge, as it wouldn't have if it didn't include it.
