Holy Shit! Another fucking flashback episode, big frickin’ surprise! No, this a flashback within a flashback with a couple differences, and then continued from there. And I’ll be honest, I’ve lightened up a bit, it still pisses me off, but at least this one was relevant. It wasted too much time showing what we already saw, but they showed just what the other Sharingan was. (I am not even going to try and spell that shit) And basically, you have to kill your best friend in order to get it. And yeah… that’s like a deus ex for the villain, ain’t it? Whatever, I wish they just said why though. Like, how does killing your best friend get your Sharingan to evolve into a Charizard, that’s all I want to know. But yeah, I really got in Sasuke’s head this time, and it worked better. Here’s what I think they should have done. Show this shit besides the friend part before, or just not at all. Then this episode can happen, that’s it. One episode for this flashback shit. But yeah, it did really help Sasuke’s character, as he might actually be trying to kill Naruto now. And yeah, that makes things more interesting, and more engaging, so I’m thankful there was a payoff for that bullshit. But yeah, it looks like it’s over (besides the other flashbacks I know that are bound to come in the fight of all Naruto’s and Sasuke’s best moments (because they haven’t shown them all enough already)) But yeah, I think it’ll be a dope fight, I’ve waited long enough for it I think.
(Post Review: When I reviewed this episode, I hadn’t known it was the season finale, so if that meant anything, it slipped my mind during the review, but I don’t think that fact alone would change my opinion.)
