GTA V, The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, so many major well respected titles came out this year. I’ve only played several, and as always I seem to be a couple years behind. But this year was big for video games, and most obviously with the release of the New Gen consoles. With them came games like Deadrising 3, the new Killzone, and more. Nintendo had some titles, namely Pokemon, Pikmin, some re-releases mostly coming from Legend of Zelda games, and more. And it’s a big one for me because I got to buy a 2DS and a copy of Pokemon Y. Not to mention my first Wii and a copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But a lot of franchise brought new games, them being Assassin’s Creed, Batman, God of War, Saints Row, DMC, DeadSpace, Sly Cooper, and more. From WWE2K14 to Injustice: Gods Among Us, there was a lot. But bigger things happened. THQ went out of business, as did LucasArts. The VGAs turned into the VGX, which I heard was terrible. SimCity had the worst launch in history. But for me, I had my own adventures. I got a Wii this year, as well as a 2DS. But my Xbox was played the most. From Bayonetta to finally getting to fully play Kingdom Hearts II, I had a wonderful gaming year.
