As our episode begins we see our heroes sailing through the fog in a more mysterious yet interesting setting. The bridge builder tells of the man after him, Gato. He’s one of the wealthiest men of the world, but far from benevolent. He sells drugs, and uses gangs and ninjas for his dirty business. But if the bride is build it will break his control on the isolated land of waves. But the reason he didn’t tell the leaf village of this was because his nation is poor, and couldn’t get enough money together for A or B ranked mission. But due to the old man’s guilt trip and the others loyal duty, they agree to stay with the bridge builder until the bridge is complete. They land in the Land of Waves, and on the way back to the Bridge Builder’s home, they are ambushed. With a pretty violent entrance Zabuza shows himself, calling out the others. Kakashi steps forward and for the first time unveils his eye, his scared Sharingan eye is exposed. A small squeamish happens where Zabuza appears between the bridge builder and the others, but Kakashi stops him, but took out a water clone, then Zabuza attacked, but then Kakashi was a water clone. And our episode ends with Zabuza hostage at Kakashi. It’s not a bad episode by any means, but didn’t feel quite as fulfilling as some of the others. It really does feel like an epic fight is about to happen, and it’s really is cool. Discovering Kakashi’s true power as the copy ninja is important, and we also know who Zabuza is while also seeing a glimpse of his strength. We even learned of the Sharingan, a huge part of the series. It’s important, and sets the stage for the future, and in the end is just a really nice episode. Kakashi for the win!
