So our episode starts off at daybreak, and we see the Forest of Death isn’t a safe place for any animal. (Burning a squirrel alive is definitely animal cruelty) Time goes on and we see as Neji spots Ino’s team, but gives so little he won’t even take their scroll. (I did laugh a lot at one part though) Then we see as the sound ninja reveal themselves to Sakura and just about to kill her, but Rock Lee bursts from nowhere and saves her. After that Ino’s team after a short conversation spot the fight with Sasuke and the others from a distance. Then the rest of the episode is Rock Lee vs. the sound ninja, and it’s pretty cool. We get a back-story on one of Lee’s moves he almost used on Sasuke, and even though the sound ninja were able to completely weaken the attack, it still almost takes out one of the sound ninja, but it had with the cost of exhausting Rock Lee’s body. Then our episode ends with sound man ready to attack. In the end the episode was actually a low seven for me. It was good for building some smaller roles, and provided a new mini conflict in the Forest of Death, and you really don’t know how it’ll end. I’m pretty sure the season will end just as this conflict is resolved, but I’m interested to see how it will happen.
