You know, the last two songs on this album got a six and a seven. Sure part of that was relief ‘cause they weren’t garbage, but still. Not to mention I gave credit to her for her work with Kanye on Monster, and B.o.B. on Out of My Mind. And now we’re back to this. This song is just lazy, and it really feels so lackluster. It’s barely over three minutes, has hardly any lines, and even those lines are just bad. She’s not rapping, so I guess that excuses why she’s not rhyming, but still. When you step aside and say hey, I’m going to sing (she’s pretty close to doing that in enough songs) then make a song where your singing, but signing a good song. When your two verses are barely EIGHT LINES, then yeah, it feels lazy. What the fuck is this song about? The first verse kind of is talking about a relationship where she’s so depressed she needs saving, and I guess that’s what she’s referring to in the hook. Then the only real line emerges when she says it’s not your fault I’m a bitch. Thank you, easily my favorite of the EIGHT LINES. So yeah, Nicki is a girl in a guy industry, so she can’t make a bunch of songs about fucking chicks and her money. (Although not saying she doesn’t do that) So you would think she would make use of her opportunity and make her influential songs like this better. No, this is just depressing, and not uplifting at all. The song just feels like your depressed and want somebody to handle your shit. This is album filler, one-hundred percent. When your boring ass hook is being replayed this much in a three minute song, and the words save me might as well be looping the entire song, then yes, you didn’t give a fuck. I don’t give a fuck who saves Nicki Minaj, I want somebody to save this song.
