So our episode begins with that big book that could possibly defeat Zeke. Well it’s opened, and two of these weird monsters come out that I forget the name of. And guess who fucking destroys them? ANNA! Yes, her beats destroy the monsters, apparently she’s a lot stronger now. For some reason Zeke wakes up in the middle of the night covered in blood (maybe a reaction to those things being destroyed) and for the first time he isn’t smiling, and it’s scary as hell. Then goes back, even in covered in blood, to smiling. Damn I love Zeke. He says he didn’t think Anna could do that, but says he’s almost happy that she did. I felt this really helped both Zeke and Anna. Anyway, I only wish our actual heroes were doing something as interesting. They take another "detour,” to a spa like place for the night. Then a new female antagonist (remember when I said there seem to be a lot of them on this show) who had previously taken one of the girls Shaman, then starts trying to beat them with allusions. But they fight it off so easily, it makes them not feel dumb or stupid, even Trey and Rio had looked good by this. And Len was half ready to kill her. And who fucks up this continuation of good character development? Lyserg. Fucking Lyserg. He is easily tricked by the allusion of a X Law, and even shoves his spirit out the way when she’s like "Hey, look, listen!” Okay, I guess from knowledge of Zelda we can’t blame him. If you haven’t seen the show and know what Chloe (his spirit) looks like, that joke probably didn’t make much sense. But Lyserg is saved by the girls, and then episode ends. I really liked the episode, it helped each character a little bit more. But come on, another "detour?” And fuck Lyserg, I’m really staring to hate that fuck.
