All right before I begin I’d like to give my two cents on this little part on "Planet Namek.” This is a great season, and when I think of the worst episodes from it, these next few episodes pop into my head. They’re not bad, but they drag on to long for me, and I just don’t really like them that much. Anyway our three heroes after an abrupt landing continue to crash and wake up with a broken ship, and in the care of two mysterious yet kind namekians. They have some cool powers, like reading minds or levitating cigars up to their mouths to smoke up. (Wonderful part for the kids) They offer to take the guys out to help search for dragonballs, and even fix their ship. Meanwhile Vegeta is getting is healing and Goku is anxious to get out of the hospital and start fighting. But Bulma and the others go off dragonball hunting and wind up with three dragonballs on somewhat interesting mini adventures. The lake was pretty cool, but mostly it seems really pointless, and feels like filler. I’ve given my opinion on filler episodes before, but when there this pointless and unemotional I can’t really defend them. This one episode is just really slow, and just barely makes average from the nameks who make you think on what’s going on. If it wasn’t for their mystery and just some few good moments this would have been below average. This actually is probably my least favorite episode yet, not that it’s bad, but it just seems to take up time and energy for nothing.  Episode 41 (Friends Or Foes?) gets a 2/5
