Finally! A normal ass name to an episode! All right this time I’m just going to try and do something new. Usually if I watch an episode on computer I write while the episode is playing out. This time I’ll wait until the episode is over, try to remember all that happens, and tell you my opinions…
Well that was pretty god damn awesome! I think I might try this way of reviewing more often, and this episode being better certainly helped. The episode I felt was a bit faster, and wasn’t wasting as much time like before. Still a little slow, but it didn’t bug me as much. Well basically Haku started to get serious and his attacks started doing some real damage. Kakashi and Zabuza aren’t really fighting at all in this, but that’s okay for me. Because Sasuke for the first time used his Sharingan, and in the middle of a huge ass battle! He saves Naruto, and even though going to the point where he basically is about to die, he pretty much gives his life for Naruto. Naruto awakes, has a little montage of all the little moments between Naruto and Sasuke, then Sasuke pretty much dies. (Let’s go along for the moment and say that he is dead) Haku tried to get all noble on Naruto, but Naruto doesn’t really want to hear it. He then starts emerging red energy, and suddenly the seal is broken, and the Nine-Tailed Fox is released! I don’t really know how the Fox transformations work since I’m not far in the series, but I’m pretty sure each tail counts as a new transformation, and this is form one. If so, I don’t know what the fuck he’ll turn into by tail nine. Anyway the episode ends a little after Naruto hits this form and it’s bad ass. In the end I feel this episode was much more interesting, a little less time consuming, and much more higher on the bad ass scale! A high eight, and hopefully the next episode will surpass it to a nine. This episode greatly helped Naruto’s and Sasuke’s rivalry which really always needs a boost, had the usual character progression, and birthed two really bad ass transformations that have made a huge impact on the show, and anime in general. If that isn’t worthy of a creativity badge I don’t what is.
