Anyway, it looks like no matter how Light works, he can’t avoid L. L is aware of Raye’s fiancé’s death, and remembers her, and knows she wouldn’t kill herself. He puts some pieces together, after closely watching the footage of Raye dying, he knows that he was likely killed by however he was following. So Light’s family alongside some other random guy’s house is being watched. And Light being the crafty person he is, knows the house is bugged. How, his door. Yeah, he is really panicky when it comes to coming into his room. So now poor Ryuk can’t eat apples in the room (and that’s like a heroine addict being denied his fix) So Light finds his way around it. He is able to watch the news with a tiny LCD T.V. and hiding it in a bag of chips. And yes, while he kills criminals, he eats from a bag of potato chips. And leave it to Death Note to make potato chip eating into a epic scenario. And yeah, he throws the bag with the T.V. away, and that was four-hundred dollars… what the fuck!? You rich asshole Light. I fucking hate you, but you’re so awesome! Anyway, the episode as a whole was another boom. I remember seeing these earlier episodes and just getting smacked around by the story and its turns. It’s another elite, and a great episode. L really came to life in this episode, and this is the first time he really had his chance.
